Mapping Brazilian Graphic Design – Event

From dusty book covers to cardboard posters & signage; vernacular patterns to handwritten stage design; pinball apps to the olympic brands. Henrique Nardi will talk about the current state of Brazilian Graphic Design while exploring some of the projects selected for the latest Brazilian Graphic Design Biennial, run by the national Graphic Designers Association – ADG Brasil.

Henrique’s Bio: Henrique Nardi is a graphic designer from São Paulo. Since 2003, he runs an educational project called “Tipocracia”, aimed at promoting typographic culture throughout Brazil and abroad. He is also a typography teacher at SENAC São Paulo, where he helped to develop their post-graduation program on typography, the first of its kind in Brazil.

Parking Info: Campus lots 61, 55 and 56 are close to the Humanities building and are free after 4:30 pm on weeknights.
