Join AIGA Wisconsin for a Field Trip and Hands on Workshop at The Hamilton Wood Type and Printing Museum! The Hamilton Wood Type and Printing Museum was founded in 1999 and is located in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, United States. It is dedicated to the preservation, study, production and printing of wood type used in letterpress printing. In this AIGA sponsored field trip you will take a tour of the museum followed by a private interactive workshop where participants will learn how to use the machinery and design and press their own original print. Please note, the museum is about 2 hours north, so the car pool will be leaving at 9am on May 13th.
